A tough day to think about the future…
And it’s hard to be creative everyday, to write and plan out a whole book series, and publish it myself (under my own imprint, Thunderloft Press). I’m often asked, how I keep going? How do I stay the course, even when things look so bleak?
The answer is: I’ve really dedicated myself to learning what works for me.
Stuff like this image – of the two BLOOD BRUTE prequels (links in bio) loaded onto my Kindle app, ready to read, I’ve learnt really motivates me. Makes me realize that I’m crafting something – not high, fine art (we’re talking about #vampires versus #zombies in an #apocalypse, after all!) – but crafting something for myself. A little bulwark against the future.
It’s as the old adage says, if you can’t find what you want to read, you gotta go write it yourself.
If you can’t find a future for yourself, you sometimes gotta go create it yourself 💪
