My workspace tends to change about the house, depending what I’m working on or what part of the writing process is on the cards. Right now, I’m launching the first BLOOD BRUTE book, RISE OF ONE, hence the big A3 notebook for my marketing calendar leading up to the 15th Dec launch.
I’m also outlining the second BLOOD BRUTE book, hence the A4 @filofax notebook. Also jammed among the pages of that is an SF short story that I’m working on, too. I’ll edit said story soon, so my workspace will move again to perhaps one of the PCs upstairs or I’ll drag a laptop to the kitchen table as above.
That’s one of the key things with making writing work and fitting it into your life with a full-time job: make it easy to snatch a couple of minutes when and where you can. Actually getting 45mins to write over lunch > an overwrought writing ritual that can only happen in one sacred spot! 👍
