As the first year of a new decade, I was fully prepared to head into 2020 ready for action and huge change. Of course, we all know how that went! Still, I’m a stubborn old hag: when the going gets tough, I dig in my heels and *MAKE* good stuff happen, even if all around is falling apart. Our lives still go on, even if if feels like the world is ending.
2020:
1. The passing of my mum in January.
2. On the Edge of Salt and also Finding Home, the two prequels to Blood Brute launched.
3. I cooked some amazing meals & (safely!) entertained & hosted those that I could.
4. The best relationship ever kept on trucking. I also grew out my grey hair for a while.
5. WE GOT ENGAGED!!!
6. I published my first book, Rise of One.
7. I made new friends & got closer to old ones x
8. I worked hard on writing this year, on top of a full-time job.
9. TBT that time I made two cheesecakes!
Whatever 2021 brings, even if it’s all awful all over again, we can salvage the gems from the wreckage x
